11+ Entrance Exam Papers

The purpose of 11+ entrance exam papers is not to make Grammar schools academically selective, but to help them make offers on a controlled basis to candidates that they feel will benefit most from the education they offer. The entrance process usually consists of an English and Maths paper as well an interview. It is crucial that a learner does well in the interview as this will often sway Grammar schools. Apart from tutoring Maths we help boost learner confidence, build rapport, teach independent learning, offer interview techniques, and much more.

The length of 11+  entrance exam papers (Maths) varies according to individual schools, but is usually between  45mins t0 1 hour 15min in length. It is important that  learners are confident working  at levels 5 to 6. For extra practice we suggest that learners attempt our Year 5 and 6  Maths revision sheets without a calculator. On their own they are a great resource but to gain maximum benefit they should ideally be used with a tutor.

Below you can download 11+ Entrance exam papers from top Grammar schools, from which we have taught learners.
