GCSE Maths Past Papers

Below is a selection of GCSE Maths past papers. The papers follow the linear scheme of work, meaning that there are 2 Exams at the end of the year – a calculator and non-calculator paper. Learners must attend both exams in order to achieve GCSE Maths at the end of the year.

– Tiered papers
o Foundation Tier grades C-G available
o Higher Tier grades A*-D available (E allowed)

– 1 hour 45 minutes (Higher papers)
–  100 marks on each paper
– Paper 1F and 1H: Non-calculator
– Paper 2F and 2H: Calculator
– The functional elements of mathematics are assessed on each paper:
o 30-40% of the Foundation Tier papers
o 20-30% of the Higher Tier papers.

Past Papers are from Edexcel and AQA and contain mark schemes. For extra support we suggest that learners attempt our  GCSE Maths revision sheets first. On their own they are a great resource but to gain maximum benefit they should ideally be used with a tutor.
